Why Crop Here
Every feed shape
1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9, 3:2 and 4:3 from the Crop row in Edit photo — the shape changes in place and everything else you did stays.
Keep the whole picture instead
A landscape photo on a portrait post loses its sides when cropped. Framed puts the whole photo on a 9:16 card with a border — the white-frame look — with Higher or Lower to leave room for a caption.
Text that stays in the safe area
Titles and captions you add sit inside the frame you chose, and the phone platform guide shows where an app’s buttons will cover the picture.
Saved at full size
The crop is rendered at the photo’s own resolution when you Save photo.
Private by design
Your photo never leaves the browser tab — no upload, no account, no watermark on what you save.
Full-size saves
Save photo re-renders every edit at the photo’s own resolution, as PNG, JPEG or WebP, or copies it straight to the clipboard.
Frequently Asked Questions
What size is an Instagram post?
Square is 1:1; portrait is 4:5 (the tallest the feed shows); Stories and Reels are 9:16. Pick the shape in the Crop row.
How do I post a landscape photo without cropping it?
Use the TikTok white border quick format (Tracking ▸ Output Format, or the Export tab): the whole photo sits on a 9:16 card with a white frame.
Can I move the crop?
The crop is centred. To keep the whole picture, use Framed with a border instead.
Is it free? Is there a watermark?
Free, no watermark, no signup, no limit on how many photos you edit.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The photo is opened and edited inside the browser tab on your own device, and the file you save is made there too. Nothing is sent to a server.
Will it lower the resolution?
No. Save photo renders the finished edit at the photo’s own full size (or the preview size, if you pick it), as PNG, JPEG or WebP.
