GET THE LOOK

Three steps from this page to a finished clip

  1. 1

    Open the Sports Tracker preset

The button above opens Vis Exo in Pose Estimation mode with this look already applied — a “Preset loaded” note confirms it.

  2. 2

    Add your footage

Allow your webcam, or load a video with a person clearly in frame. MP4, MOV and WebM all work.

  3. 3

    Fine-tune and export

Adjust anything in the sidebar — add a Cinematic LUT, animate it with Keyframes — then Record to save an MP4 or WebM.

What you get

Why Sports Movement Analytics Tracker Works Here

Full skeleton + joint angles

Live elbow/knee bend readouts alongside a 17-point body skeleton, useful for form checks on swings, throws, jumps, and more.

Speed readout

Tracked objects report speed in pixels/second, visible directly on screen or via Data Export.

Frame-accurate review

Step Back/Forward one frame at a time, or use Render Mode for a frame-by-frame processed export of a training clip.

Multi-Person tracking

Track more than one athlete in frame at once, each with a stable ID.

Export the numbers

Motion Tracking Data Export writes per-frame tracked coordinates and speed to CSV for spreadsheet analysis.

Works with existing footage

Upload a training video instead of using a live camera — same tracking pipeline either way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can it measure how fast a player is moving?

Yes. Every tracked object carries a speed derived from its own movement, timed against the video timeline, and you can show it as a label or colour by it with the Heatmap style.

Can I isolate just the joints I care about?

Yes. Body Region has one-tap Upper Body / Lower Body presets — a golf swing or throw only needs Upper Body's arms and torso, a sprint or jump only needs Lower Body's legs and torso — or fine-tune the four Track Joints toggles (Face, Arms, Torso, Legs) individually.

Does it smooth out jittery joint tracking?

Yes. Smooth Jitter is on by default and eases each joint's estimated position frame to frame instead of snapping to every small model wobble — pose estimation re-guesses every joint from scratch each frame, so this matters more here than on most tracking modes.

Can I get the data into a spreadsheet?

Yes. Export tracking data as CSV for per-frame positions you can analyse elsewhere.

Does it work on footage from the stands?

It can, but a wide shot makes each athlete's joints small and harder for the model to resolve confidently — switch Pose Model to Thunder for more accurate (if slower) joint estimation on small or distant subjects. A steady, well-lit shot helps more than any setting.
