What you get

Why Speed Heatmap Visualizer Online Works Here

Color driven by real tracked speed

Each tracked object's color reflects its own measured speed in pixels/second, updated every frame.

Works on any tracking mode

Apply it to Blob, Motion, Face, Object, Pose, Person, or Hand tracking.

Distinct from the Thermal Post-FX

Speed Heatmap colors by motion; Thermal Heatmap (Post-FX) recolors the whole frame like a FLIR camera — combine both for a fuller effect.

Pairs well with Speed Vectors

Add directional arrows sized to speed alongside the heatmap coloring for a fuller motion diagram.

Export the visualization

Record the heatmap effect as a video, or export tracked speed values directly via Motion Tracking Data Export.

Free, runs locally

No upload — everything renders live in your browser.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the speed heatmap colour actually mean?

The Heatmap visual style colours each tracked object by how fast it is moving, so a fast subject and a slow one are immediately distinguishable rather than both drawn in the same colour.

How is speed measured?

From the tracked object's own movement between frames, timed against the video's timeline rather than wall-clock, and smoothed so contour jitter does not read as random spikes. Values are in pixels per second.

Can I hide things that are barely moving?

Yes. Min Speed hides anything below a threshold you set, and Ignore Stationary Objects drops anything that has not actually travelled across its trail history.

Can I show only things moving one way?

Yes. The Direction filter keeps only objects travelling left, right, up, down, or along one axis — useful for isolating one lane or one flow.

Can I get the speed numbers out?

Yes. Turn on speed labels to read them on screen, or export tracking data as CSV for per-frame figures.
