How do I remove background noise from a video for free?

Does it upload my video or audio?
No. The clean-up is signal processing that runs in your browser, live for the preview and on the decoded soundtrack for the export.
Is it AI? Will it make the voice sound robotic?
It is classic signal processing, not a generative model: nothing is invented. Each control is a slider from off to full, so you can stop where it still sounds natural. Very high noise reduction can make a voice thin; back it off a little and add Isolate or Echo instead.
Can it remove music or other voices behind the speaker?
Isolate voice reduces what is outside the speech range and what is panned off-centre, which helps with a bed of music, but it is not full source separation: whatever is centred with the voice stays.
Does it work on a podcast or a voice-over, not only video?
